Beast & CAA – Family Skating

With a desire to increase their membership numbers, the CAA partnered with Cosmos and the Brampton Beast to provide families in Peel Region the opportunity to spend quality time with each other while learning to skate.

After 2 successful years, the program continues to thrive attracting people and families from all over the GTA. As one of the most successful case studies that Cosmos has been a part of, Cosmos looks to continue its relationship with the CAA (Centre) and the Brampton Beast for many years to come.

Beast & Kotak Law – Military Appreciation Day

As an annual theme game for the Brampton Beast Hockey Club, Kotak Law partners with the Beast and Cosmos to host a Military Appreciation Game Day to commemorate the brave men and women of the Canadian Armed Forces.

Each year the Beast create a new Remembrance Day jersey in which the jerseys are then auctioned off to the public. These jerseys have gained national recognition appearing on Hockey Night in Canada four years running. Proceeds of each jersey purchased go to Wounded Warriors Canada.

Beast & Maple Lodge Farms – “Hot Dog” It’s Game Day

Maple Lodge Farms and the Brampton Beast have been partners since 2014. As a way to help them connect with the community through sport, the Beast and Cosmos created the Maple Lodge “Hot Dog Gun” activation to provide a fun and entertaining way for fans to enjoy a FREE hot dog during the game while also providing a FREE hot dog voucher for fans with a valid Beast ticket.

CIS (U Sports) – Expand Playoff Football

U Sports is the national governing body of university sport in Canada, comprised of 56 member universities.

In an effort to keep and grow interest in the sport of football, U Sports wanted to examine the implications of expanding the playoffs, with the belief that fans will remain interested if they feel their team has a shot at winning it all.

Cosmos engaged all member institutions to gather feedback, and developed a 11 point criteria to objectively evaluate each proposed format, including likelihood of rematches, additional costs, and perceived fan interest.

City of Kitchener – Advertising & Sponsorship Program

Cosmos Sports & Entertainment was selected, via RFP process, by the City of Kitchener to sell advertising assets in recreational facilities within the city. Moreover, this inventory includes 7 arenas and 2 publicly owned golf courses.

The challenge then became how to develop and execute a professional advertising & sponsorship program.In final preparation before going to market, Cosmos’ in-house creative services team designed a package that sought to visualize the opportunities for prospects and serve as an aid to the sales team.

Dauphin Kings – Score Big with Cosmos Sports

Having begun play as a member of the Manitoba Junior Hockey League in 1967, the Dauphin Kings have been a mainstay cultural component to the Dauphin community. With tremendous on-ice success and several notable alumni in their history, they continue to bring grassroots hockey development to those both young and old in rural Manitoba.

Facing similar challenges to many teams in Junior A hockey leagues, the Dauphin Kings sought the consulting services of Cosmos Sports to assist in developing actionable strategies for increased revenue generation – particularly in regards to ticket sales and sponsorship channels.
